BAPTISM

Jesus left Galilee and went to the River Jordan to be baptized by John. John did not believe himself to be someone who would or could baptize the Son of Man but Jesus insisted so that it would fulfill the prophecy. Once baptized, a voice from Heaven confirmed his position as the Son of God.
